Introducing Bearcat Industries.....A Junior Achievement Company

Junior Achievement is the successful bridge between education and business. Its unique approach integrates program materials, training, and support. Our JA Economics class will be operating a business in order to learn the skill it takes to be in the business industry. We are in the process of deciding what good or service Bearcat Industries will produce for our customers. Interviews were held to decide various company job postitions. Our JA Business Consultant, John Shumate, and Mrs.Hawkins conducted the interviews. The positions were filled as follows.

Company President: Emily Kretzer

Vice President of Production: Joe Johnson

Inventory and Quality Control Manager: Christina Whitley

Vice President of Marketing: Jessica Johnson

Sales Manager: Dakota Black

Advertising Manager: Cheyenne Hight

Research Manager: A.J. Knisley

Vice President of Publice Relations and Human Resources: Sarah Groves

Vice President of Finance: Emily Stanley

After deciding on a product or service to sell, preparation will begin. At the end of the school year we will be required to give a speech to the Junior Achievement Board of Directors about Bearcat Industries. It will take a lot of hard work, responsibility, and cooperation from every person in this business for it to succeed. We are looking forward to trying our hardest and seeing what the business world is all about!
